Then I heard this again several weeks ago spoken by an old family friend of ours after her granddaughter’s wedding.
The Schmidt’s and Harman’s in front of the future school/feeding center. |
So…I’ve been thinking about it. Mostly because in the midst of our school/nutrition building project, we have seen the money come in continually until now. We are at a stand still for lack of funds. So if God is always on time, why has not the money come in that is needed to continue work on this building (which will also be the home of 2 families…1 being ours)? Well, my conclusion is…although it seems like God’s timing for continuing this project should be immediately, obviously His timing is not ours.
This reminder keeps me humble before God…remembering that He is All-powerful and All-knowing. If it were my timetable, I would have that money in the builders hands today. But I am NOT God. He will have that money supplied when He is good and ready for it. May He receive more glory for the waiting on our part.
We also have dear friends who are struggling with marriage and family issues. Although we know and trust that God’s timing is perfect, and He’s always on time, it can be very difficult for us during this waiting time to be patient and not “waste” this time. May He receive more glory for the waiting on our part.
I'm happy I get to follow along with your family's journey. It is hard to wait on His timing, but always, always worth the wait. May He show you blessings during this quiet time.
